BeatleConcert UNPLUGGED
** Masks are required at all times at 12th Ave Arts ** ---------- BeatleConcert Unplugged is an acoustic showcase from Strawshop's new favorite 12th Ave party: BeatleConcert (appearing later his year). On Sunday, July 10, join Paul Hiraga, Bhama Roget, and Jeff Brown from the band for an intimate evening of the Beatles interpreted for guitar, piano, and vocal.
The Beatles influenced music and music history in many ways. They synthesized the stylings of pop, folk, blues, country, and classical to advance rock'n'roll out of its embryonic limitations. In the process of playing, listening, and experimenting, they developed into highly versatile musicians and songwriters.
Though known for invention in the studio and creating lavish soundscapes, the Beatles also created a catalog of modern standards. Songs such as "Let It Be," Here Comes the Sun," "Something," "In My Life," and "Yesterday" are among the most recorded songs in British music history--in part because they can be realized as easily by an orchestra as by a solo piano or guitar.
