Chicago Cider Week Cider Cruise Launch Party
Kick off the 6th Annual Chicago Cider Week with The Northman Beer & Cider Garden! Join us for a spectacular Cider Cruise aboard Chicagos Leading Lady. There will be numerous producers sampling cider around the boat, as well as hors d'oeuvres from The Northman menu. During the 2-hour cruise, we will host a few short talks on the history of cider, learn about the exciting week ahead, and enjoy a little architectural history along the Chicago River.
Tickets cover the architectural cruise itself, as well as the food and cider during the cruise. There will be a wide variety of cider available for all you cider loving folk as well as a craft beer option for the non-believers! For those who like to enjoy cocktails & wine they will be available for purchase with a credit or debit card from the Emerald Lady's Bar. Cash is not accepted onboard the boat.
Hor d'oeuvres will be served on board the cruise and are included in the ticket price. No other food will be available for purchase during the cruise. Join us at The Northman Beer & Cider Garden pre-cruise for a light dinner before you board!

The Northman Riverwalk location is just east of Michigan Avenue Bridge, along the South bank of the river (between Michigan and Columbus Drive). Boarding begins at 6:30pm from Chicago's Emerald Lady boat launch (112 E. Wacker Drive), Dock 3 or 4 located on the riverwalk path adjacent to the Northman west entrance (to be confirmed the week prior to the event).
The festivities will begin onboard dockside from 6:30pm-7pm with the cruise beginning at 7pm, lasting around 2 hours. The boat will leave the dock at 7pm sharp and will not wait, please do not be late. We will return to the dock around 9pm to disembark.
This is a rain or shine event, please feel free to bring umbrellas (or purchase one of our Northman umbrellas from our Service Hut for $12) or raincoats in the case of inclement weather, there is also an indoor lower deck for shelter if need be,
