The Ship's Captain
The Ships Captain is a 19th-century comic romp with a lively plot and borrowed tunes (as was a style in those days), telling the story of two high-spirited sisters, one of whom must satisfy their uncles will by marrying a wealthy sea-captain and then a sailor named Waller, from the sea-captains ship, arrives to test their characters. Translated, revised, and directed by Byron Nilsson; performed by the Musicians of Maalwyck with singers Yvonne Trobe, Joelle Lachance, and Vince Gover.
