Miles Lennox trio featuring IMANI ROUSSELLE
Imani Rousselle is a Texas-born vocalist with a love for interpreting and delivering the message of lyric. She currently makes her home in New York City. Imani has sung on stages such as Dizzy's Jazz Club, Clements Place, the Schomburg Center in Harlem, The Joyce Theater and more. She has performed alongside great musicians including Stefon Harris, Casey Benjamin, Marc Carey, Jaleel Shaw, Domo Branch, Cory Henry, and Roger Boykin, and is excited to once again continue performing in a world with renewed fervor for connection and creation.
THIS IS AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE
This intimate concert is presented by The Harlem Flophouse. The doors open at 7pm. Prior to it's start you will have an opportunity to converse and interact with the musicians. The music starts promptly at 7:30pm. There is a 15 minute break at 8:15pm. The concert ends at 9:05pm. The Harlem Flophouse has garnered an international reputation for its unique style and beauty. It was listed by the French travel guide Routard as one of the 50 "dream hotels" of the world, it was featured in The New York Times 36 hours in Harlem. It has been a photo shoot/interview location for artists such as Moby, Sharon Jones and Kamasi Washington as well as numerous fashion and film productions.
