Wild Honey Presents Iain Matthews & Steve Postell with Eleni (Mandell) & Milo (Jones)
Wild Honey's 2020 return to our Eagle Rock backyard mini amphitheater continues with this amazing bill of Wild Honey artists, Iain Matthews & Steve Postell and Eleni & Milo (Mandell & Jones). Both Iain and Eleni shined brightly at the 2020's stellar pre-pandemic Lovin' Spoonful Event and are eager to resume their roles as longtime Wild Honey performers with their respective collaborators.
Tickets are $20 for just music and $40 with unlimited food and non-alcoholic drink. You can also purchase food and drink at the event.
Doors open at 3:30 pm. Seating is general admission,. Full vax and masking will be mandatory. Despite all the wishful thinking out there, I don't want anyone getting sick from attending a show in my backyard. Music starts at 4pm. Both acts will perform full sets and food (probably pasta) and non-alcoholic drinks will be served and safely consumed.
IAIN MATTHEWS founding member of British Folk-Rock bands Fairport Convention and Matthews Southern Comfort, has recorded with the likes of Nanci Griffith and Elliott Murphy.
STEVE POSTELL, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer for the Immediate Family (with Danny Kootch Kortchmar, Waddy Wachtel, Leland Sklar, Russ Kunkel), has worked with David Crosby, John Oates, Robben Ford, Jennifer Warnes, and more.
ELENI & MILO
LA based singer-songwriter, Eleni Mandell, and Boston-transplant singer-songwriter, Milo Jones, got married and gave birth to some music. Together, they weave intricate harmonies into their original songs.
