SING About It!
Singing it out, singing together, singing for life - connecting with our world through music.
Join ALL of our AYS Singers in TREBLE CONCERT CHOIR, YOUTH CHORALE, and our TRAINING & INTRO to MUSIC MAKING CHOIRS as we share wonderful works by Harry BELAFONTE, Rollo DILWORTH, Greg GILPIN, Moses HOGAN, Susan LaBARR, James MULHOLLAND, Jacob NARVERUD, Ryan O'NEAL, and Moira SMILEY. Featuring the regional premiere of THE WEDDING by Hussein JANMOHAMED, commissioned by Atlanta Young Singers and 20 other choruses through Chorus America!
EXCEPTIONAL education. GLORIOUS sound. You don't want to miss these wonderful performances by talented young vocalists from all over Atlanta!
WILL CALL opens at 6:30 for the 7PM performance. There are NO ticket sales at the door.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Seating is in pews and reserved by ROW, but not by SEAT - seat numbers on the map are for internal purposes only. Seating within the row, including on the aisle, is on a first-come, first-served basis on night of show. The floor seats are fully accessible; however, the balcony seating requires that audience members climb 8-10 steps. MASKS are required.
We are so glad that you are planning to join us for SING About It! As we come together in person, we would like to share a few notes to make our audience COMFORTABLE and SAFE: 1. There are NO tickets for sale at the venue on the evening of the performance - advanced sales only. 2. Please arrive no earlier than 6:30 for the 7PM performance. 3. We will have your tickets at the WILL CALL table. 4. ALL who enter the building must wear a MASK covering both nose and mouth. 5. We expect all who attend the performance to be able to show proof of vaccination or be able to show proof of a negative COVID test administered in the last 2 days. Thank you for making our time together wonderful!
ACCESSIBILITY We want you in our audience! Seating on the floor is fully accessible, and there is space for wheelchairs close to the stage. Bathrooms are fully accessible. If you need reasonable modification due to a disability, including communication in an alternate format, please call 404.873.3365 at least 7 days in advance of the program.
Every supporter is important to us. AYS programs such as SING About It! would not be possible without the generous help of foundations, government agencies, corporations, and individuals that support youth development and the arts. Funding for this program is provided in part by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs, and the Georgia Council for the Arts through the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly. GCA also receives funding from its partner agency, the National Endowment for the Arts. ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
There are no refunds, but exchanges are ok when/if possible.
