To put this in the terms we'd use if this were our MFA project:
Laconia is a movement-based theatrical exploration utilizing masks to explore our collective feelings of dislocation in response to disruptions in our global environment and their intrusions into the sphere of the personal.
To put this in the terms we use when we talk amongst ourselves:
Laconia. It's that weird-ass play with the dancing paper mache eyeballs.
To put this in the terms we use when we talk to ourselves at 3am:
Laconia. What is this? Why am I going out of the house? I don't want to go out. I want to go out. I haven't gone out. I shouldn't go out. Should I go out? What's going on? Should I wear pants?
