Food Forests - Regenerative Food growing techniques Sat June 11th How to think like a Forest. Whether you want to learn more for your garden, community project farm or want to learn there will be a lot included on the day. Growing food for biodiversity, wellbeing and climate action inspired by Permaculture. An exploration of how to grow food from a window sill, no dig annual vegetables, forest gardening and farm scale. Includes cutting edge techniques. Organic, Veganic and resilient. We will spend time learning about growing plants in a way that cares for the earth, people and uses resources well. We will explore soil, plants and ecosystems. Jo spent some time exploring different food growing techniques last year and include soil, plants and systems.
A one day stand alone course. Can be one as part of the food forest series or introduction to Permaculture weekend. The Abbey Physic Garden is an amazing place to demonstrate different techniques. This will be an informative, explorative day with a practical hands on session too.. Includes a forage and delicious vegan lunch.
