The discovery of a 20-year-old publisher's acceptance letter prompts Charles, a retired teacher, to pursue an old dream of getting his PhD thesis published -- at the expense of his wife who is juggling a home renovation and spirited grandchildren.

Inspired by a true story, this comedy explores how new life passions can emerge at the most unexpected times - and that it's never too late to repair damaged relationships.
