SYNODAL LISTENING SESSION INVITATION FROM ST PATRICK AND ST JOSEPH PAISHES

The LGBTQ ministries of St Patrick and St Joseph parishes would like to invite members of our LGBTQ Community to an LGBTQ only Synod gathering. Pope Francis has said he wants to hear from the whole church. We LGBTQ children of God, members of the Body of Christ, need time and space to say what we need to say. This is an historic invitation and opportunity, and we need to make sure our voices are heard. Whether you're a practicing Catholic or havent been to Church in years, we need you. If youre skeptical of the synod process, dont trust church hierarchy, feel you dont belong in a church that judges us and doesn't accept us as we are, please come. All parishes are welcome. Invite your friends. Our focus is simple. What breaks your heart about the church? What fills your heart? What are your hopes/ What are your fears? Please join us at 7pm on either Mon 4/18 or Sun 4/24. Come twice if you like, but please come and tell your stories and share whats on you minds and hearts.
