BILL EVANS 82!

A performance including three rhythm tap dance works and two contemporary dance pieces celebrating the 82nd birthday of Bill Evans, iconic American dancer and choreographer. To be held at the JFK Hall at Fort Worden in Port Townsend, Washington on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm and on Sunday, June 12, at 3:00 pm.
Performers will be Bill Evans, Don Halquist, Cheryl Johnson and Leanne Rinelli, all long-time members of the Bill Evans Dance Company, and the Evans Port Townsend Dance Ensemble: Aili Emilia, Abbie Doll, Lisa Flores, Anna Hansen, Camille Hildebrandt, Rae Kala and Stephanie Sanders.
The venue allows for social distancing and excellent air circulation.
Audiences will be asked to wear masks.
The concert is suitable for audiences of all ages. It will be joyful and entertaining.
Doors will open 15 minutes before each performance. Show will be approximately 90 minutes without intermission.
Look for the signs to find "JFK," which is located in the northeast corner of the Fort Worden campus. Parking on the grass near the building is appropriate.
