Bob Koven presents: Love and Laughter for Somalia
Local Funny Man and all around Huge Personality Bob Koven hosts and produced a night of gut busting laughs and world class music.
This is an invite only, private house concert/event not a commercial event. BYOB, Glasses,Ice, Soft Drinks are available to use.
Bobby Koven is a seasoned entrepreneur, but he has a secret. Hes crazy, with a K. Bobby has turned Krazy into an asset. He has become an endearing advocate for mental health awareness: Krazy (Wildman, Sunset, Flyfishing, Baker) Bob. Using his unique brand of humour, Bobby reaches out to diverse audiences with a message of hope for those individuals and families afflicted with mental health issues. Diagnosed in his early twenties with Tourettes Syndrome, he now looks back on his past behavior with a new perspective. Drawing on this life experience for his jokes and stories, Bobby tries his best to erase the stigmas surrounding mental health issues.
Comedy Headliner-Ian Sirota
Ian has shared the stage with: Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Dennis Miller, Robin Williams, Howie Mandel and Dana Carvey and headlines comedy clubs across North America. Ian was a regular cast member and writer for Comedy Inc. Comedy Now, Gutterball Alley, Mr. D, The Debaters and many more! Ian has been nominated for two Gemini Awards including Best Comedy Performance In 2019 Ian performed at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and his gala CBC set was dubbed Best Set of the Fest by Lara Rae Artistic Director (WCF)
Ians famous hoax on Jerry Springer was recently named 50th funniest moment in Canadian Comedy History by Sirius Radio. Number 50 out of the top 150 in history not too shabby. Ian.
Followed by one of our best friends in Music the multi-talented, Craig Smith.
A talented songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, performer, and solo recording artist, producer, mixer and live sound engineer, this man wears quite a few musical hats. .
Smith is recognized for his laid-back folk-rock and pop, with a passion for atmospherics and emotional songwriting. His music and performances embody the spirit of vintage psychedelic rock, soul, R&B through the lens of a modern day singer-songwriter.
Craig has worked with many of the whos who of Canadian artists, such as Steve Poltz, Tom Wilson, Barney Bentall, Carole Pope, Stephen Fearing, Neil Osborne, Colin Linden, Ron Hawkins, Digging Roots, Craig Cardiff, Irish Mythen, Danny Michel, and many more established and up and coming artists.

Remember like all our house concerts at I Arted, this is an invite only, non-profit event. No monies go to the hosts, only the performers. BYOB and please be responsible, this is our home and place of business and we do this to celebrate community and artists.
All proceeds from the night after paying the talent will be sent to a small village school we support in Somalia. A few hundred over there, makes a huge contribution.
