Auntie Geri Kuhia was born and raised in La'ie, O'ahu and is 100% Hawaiian. She has an amazing voice, so well suited to the traditional Hawaiian music she loves to sing, which is why she is known as "Songbird" everywhere she performs. Her family was very musical so she grew up surrounded by traditional Hawaiian singers, musicians and hula dancers. She performed for many years with her family, the Kuhia Ohana, featuring her Mom, Auntie Liz Kuhia, and her Dad, Uncle Miki Kuhia. She lived in Texas for 12 years and learned to love and sing Country Western songs. She has had the opportunity to sing with top name recording artists such as Auntie Genoa Keawe, Al Harrington.
