Program Topics This presentation will provide: Overview of Senate Bill (SB) 1383s new requirements to recycle organic waste and for jurisdictions to procure per capita levels of recovered organic waste products, such as compost and mulch. Introduction to Compost and Mulch Utilization and case studies for creating compost-based green infrastructure for delivering ecosystem services for conserving water, protecting and maintaining water quality, improving soil health and reducing Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) in our atmosphere.
