FEATURING: Duante Barnett
Duante is a Seattle comedian and producers of comedy shows. He won the Best Podcast 2020 for the annual NW Black Comedy Festival, and awarded Best Host in Idaho comedy Festival 2021. His company SuitMan Productions have produced shows at venues like Laugh Comedy Clubs, Jai Thais Comedy Clash, and many venues in PNW. His creativity and comedy productions have influenced and promoted many artists in Seattle area and all over the country during pandemic.
Duantes comedy was inspired by his hearing loss but unites both the hearing and non-hearing communities. While his left ear restored 40-50% of hearing after the surgery, he continues to support and provide platforms for artists who have physical disabilities and need opportunities to perform. SuitMan production is more than an entertainment company, it is champion for artists with disabilities.
HEADLINER: Liz Glazer
Liz is a New Jersey standup comedian, actor and writer who used to be a tenured law professor, a job she was very funny at. She was the winner of Boston comedy Festival 2020, and Ladies of Laugher Competition 2021. Liz was the subject of a full article about her comedy in the Wall St Journal 2021. Lizs upcoming TV special Born Sorry will be out this spring.
Liz quit her Law professor job 6-7 years ago to be a full-time standup comedian, which makes up her comedic sensibility.
HOST: Ying Vigilan
Ying started doing open mics about 8 years ago. In the past 3 years, Ying has done shows, festivals and competitions in Seattle, Portland, NYC, LA and Las Vegas, and zoom shows all over the internet during pandemic, all the while keeping a day job. She recently headlined in a sold-out show in Nine Mile Falls, Spokane.
Her personal stories turned comedy include: being a single mom, culture shocks as the 1st generation of Chinese immigrant living in the US, and a day job as an engineer but not so appealing. Her comedy informs and entertains.
