Glasgow Reed Organ Spring Concert Dinner and a Concert
Join us Sunday, March 27, 2022 for Dinner and a Concert featuring organist Dr. Ed Duling and pianist Lynne Long for our annual Glasgow Reed Organ Series Concert.
Doors to the Opera House open at 12:00 pm with dinner being served from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. Then ascend to the auditorium for the concert which will begin at 2:00 pm.

About our featured performers:
Dr. Ed Duling will be the featured performer at the last concert of the Fine Arts Season. Sunday March 18 at 3:00 pm at the Fayette Opera House in downtown Fayette is the place to be to hear this noted organist from Coshocton, Ohio. Dr. Duling is the organist at First Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green. He is nearing 50 years as an organist or choir director in churches in several Ohio areas. He is a retired professor in Music Education. Until recently, Dr. Duling, was teaching part-time for Kent State University in this field of study.
Dr. Duling will be playing the Reed Organ that was fully restored by a former board member of Fayette Opera House, Mr. Don Glasgow, for which the series has been named.
Lynne E. Long resides in Grand Rapids, Ohio. A cum laude graduate of B.G.S.U. in piano performance, she has maintained a private piano studio in her home since the early 70s and currently teaches 28 students. The Long family resided near Fayette, Ohio, for many years. Lynne was one of the two founding members of the Fayette Fine Arts Council, served on the executive committee of the organization, was instrumental in the growth of the Council, and contributes her performance talent on many occasions to the Councils activities. She has been a member of the Ohio Music Teachers Association for many years, and now serves as secretary of the Wood-Ottawa chapter. She holds a Permanent Professional Certificate from OMTA. Lynne was a charter member of the Grand Rapids Arts Council, and now serves as president of that organization. She is a board member of the Grand Rapids Historical Society, and coordinates the summer outdoor musical series, Rhythm on the River. Lynne performs in churches and presents programs that range from classical to ragtime in a variety of venues, and she enjoys being a collaborative pianist at BGSU. She has produced two CDs of sacred music. Longs newest venture is providing music for silent movies in three historic opera houses: Pemberville, Grand Rapids, and Fayette, Ohio.
