Interstitial Fundraiser and Concert
This is a fundraiser and "first look" for Interstitial, a new musical story-telling project featuring Brightwork Ensemble and HEX vocal ensemble and created by six pairs of local writers and composers.
This event will include drinks, light bites, raffles and a performance. Attendees will get a chance to meet the creative team and performers and get a first look at this project: writers will read from their librettos and composers will show some of their music. Plus, members of Brightwork Ensemble will perform solos and duos.
The event will be held outdoors, at a private residence in Silver Lake. Address and parking information will be emailed to attendees after ticket purchase.
PROGRAM:
2:00pm cocktails and light bites
2:45pm concert begins
poetry readings by Interstitial librettists Rickerby Hinds and Warren Liu
solos and duos by members of Brightwork Ensemble: Aron Kallay, Maggie Parkins and Shalini Vijayan
first look at Interstitial featuring music by Carolyn Chen, Molly Pease, and Fahad Siadat
