Level 1 - Mondays (beg 1/12/09)
The Village Theatres Level 1 (Fundamentals) Program is designed for individuals with little or no acting or improvisational skills. Taught by our seasoned veterans of the stage, we teach you the basic techniques used in improv scene work. Concepts include warm up, trust, the principles of agreement, and group mind. The course provides a broad overview into these ideas and illustrates how to implement them on stage.
Short Form students will also be instructed in a number of performance games.
The Level 1 course ends with a graduation show on our stage!
Course Cost: $100 / month ($200 total)
Limit 12 people
Start Date: January 12th, 2009
Class meets Mondays 7-9 pm for 8 weeks (will not meet on MLK Day)
