Abe Partridge in concert!
Abe Partridge, a Mobile native son and renowned singer, wordsmith and folk artist returns to Callaghans for a special night of music! Only 60 tickets will be sold, there will be very limited seats for this show
Partridge received national and international recognition in early 2018 when he released his first official full-length release, Cotton Fields and Blood For Days, to rave reviews and substantial airplay on Americana radio. It landed Partridge a lengthy feature in The Bitter Southerner and the album was chosen to be one of their Top 30 albums of 2018. Ranging from the earthy to the surreal, from the spiritual light to the depths of depression, Partridge draws listeners in with a combination of southern gothic storytelling, dark humor, and gripping intensity. This is gonna be an awesome night of music!
We are excited to have Andrew Adkins open the show! After seven years of fronting the popular Appalachian Stompgrass band The Wild Rumpus at countless festivals, concerts and clubs including Merlefest, Bristol Rhythm and Roots, and the AMA (American Music Association) as well as writing nearly all of the songs for their 3 studio albums, Andrew has now firmly established his own voice with the release of his 4th solo album. Who I Am on Mountain Soul Records. 7pm $15 $20 day of the show
