The Evolution of Brick is an overview of Traditional Brick Veneer Systems, thin brick systems, and insulated light-weight brick veneer, the newest addition to the brick family on the market today, and how this product works as a system and affects the building envelope as a whole. This presentation provides case studies with insulated light-weight veneer brick and a cost/energy analysis in comparison to traditional and thin brick systems.

About the Presenter Michael J. Jenkins, MBA.
Michael is a Building Envelope and Infrastructure Specialist with Tremco CPG. He is a graduate of the University of Calgary in Business Administration.
Michaels career covers over 8 years of industry experience in sales within the Architectural, Engineering, and Building Material Manufacturing/Distribution communities. Michael is also actively involved in Los Angeles and Orange County AIA Chapters as an AIA Allied member.
