April AHA!: Shipwreck Avoidance Program
At 6:30 PM on April 14, 2022, marine biologist Ben Haskell of the Stellwagen Bank Sanctuary (Scituate, MA) and underwater archaeologist Dr. Calvin Mires will present their Shipwreck Avoidance Program, which discloses the locations of several shipwrecks in the Stellwagen Bank area to promote vessel safety for fishermen as well as preserve pieces of the fishing industry's past. This event is in-person and masks are recommended.
