The spec script market is hot right now, but to play the game, you have to have a finished script. In this five-week intensive, veteran screenwriter Peter Iliff ("Point Break", "Patriot Games", "Under Suspicion") will help you shepherd your amazing screenplay from concept to outline and teach you how to sell it. We'll explore your ideas, beat out your story and solidify your theme. Peter will share his personal techniques for crafting an irresistible script and give you a lot of individual help on your story. He'll help you avoid the rookie mistakes and show you how to create engaging characters and tantalizing scenes. By the end of this class, you'll have a fully developed outline and drafted a chunk of your screenplay. In addition, the best movies will be presented to Peter's agent! Before you know it, you'll be following the Red Carpet Road all the way to Sundance.
