Songs from Nature
"Songs from Nature" is a staged concert featuring queer songs by composer/pianist/coach Felix Jarrar, about finding solace in isolation in nature. The program consists of the NYC premiere of The Ulster County Songbook Volume I, and the world premiere of Otter Creek. The subject matter deals with mental health, emotional wounds, lost love, and escaping the drama of the city. From the darkest lows to the highest highs, this program of queer music has something for everyone!
Otter Creek is a jazz-infused cyclical through composed queer song cycle where three musicians have the sobering experience that there is more to enjoy in life than what their careers tell them there is.

Emerging Artists returns with their one-of-a-kind festival. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters; by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights; by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
