Warren Miller's Ticket To Ride takes filmgoers on an exhilarating voyage to the top of the steepest peaks and to the depths of the freshest powder of Iceland's Troll Peninsula, The Fjords of Greenland, The Alaskan Tordirllos, Montana's Big Sky country and more. The trams and trains in Switzerland climb to Mt. Eiger, the fishing boats in Norway float to Alesund, and the helicopters in Valdez soar above avalanche debris, all making viewers motivated and excited to discover their Ticket To Ride. Once again, winter begins with Warren Miller and it's time to get your Ticket To Ride.
Jonny Moseley hosts Ticket to Ride, which showcases world-class athletes as diverse as the terrain, including world cup champions and Olympians, Seth Westcott and Ted Ligety, legendary ski mountaineers like Chris Davenport, and young freeskiers Coly West and Sean Pettit. Gretchen Bleiler hits the pipe in Aspen and proves that "girls can look like girls and still rip", Tyler Ceccanti and Josh Bibby smash snow ghosts in the backcountry of Montana and Colby West discovers his Ticket To Ride in the Mammoth Mountain terrain park. The sports finest athletes are present in this film, and all of exemplify the courage, strength and willpower it takes to find the Ticket To Ride.
Once again, Warren Miller raises the bar with Ticket To Ride, offering filmgoers a magnitude of ski and snowboard action that can't be matched anywhere else. Ticket To Ride is presented in conjunction Carpinteria's "Snow Much To Do" event. Everyone is invited to join the fun on January 4th when 10 tons of fresh snow and a skating rink will be in Downtown Carpinteria.
