Meet The Hatch Brothers
The Hatch Brothers debut album Twelve Bar Grievances was released in Fall 2021. With a second album currently in the works, its clear that The Hatch Brothers era has just begun. Their sound is constantly evolving but one aspect remains true; no matter what genre an audience may prefer, they ensure their music reaches everyone.
Originally formed in Wilmington, North Carolina, The Hatch Brothers are a breed of their own. In 2010, brothers Paul and Sam Hatch began their journey in music performing at local Wilmington venues. Over time, their vision grew, and they evolved into a full band, known as The Hatch Brothers.
Lead vocalist and songwriter, Sam Hatch, has an iconic voice that transcends genre. His songwriting approach captures stories in time with colorful chord progressions, unique time signatures, and poetic lyricism. Bassist Paul Hatch is a self-taught musician with an ear for improvisation. Paul is never afraid to play with new ideas in the moment. Drummer Phil Milligan is a master of many styles and his biggest asset is understanding exactly what a song needs. Their newest member, Joe Sprunt, is the lead guitar master who undoubtedly breathes new life into the band. The overall sound is a blend of their favorite genres pulling from blues, rock, jazz and even folk in some instances. Collectively, The Hatch Brothers have undeniable chemistry and their ability to tailor songs on the spot creates a unique performance every time.
Meet Peverall
Originating from Nashville TN, Peverall is a cinematic indie/alternative rock artist. They debuted their first release in 2017, featuring two singles with a lip-biting progressive sound. Those singles paved the way for their entrance into the Nashville music scene and led them to a 2020 release of their debut album Afterall."
Peverall has often been compared to the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Ben Folds, The Mars Volta, and Radiohead, just to name a few. While the band is named after frontman and primary songwriter Ben Peverall, the musical composition and recordings released to date feature bassist Nic Byron, guitarist Jake Patterson, and drummer Thomas Milner. Additionally, Peverall is occasionally accompanied by cellist Scott Peters and violist Lauren Hoenig who recorded the string arrangements on the debut album.
Upon establishment of their artistry, Peverall's sound is a tasty dish of indie rock that has been described as "violent but beautiful." Their use of energetic guitars and hard-hitting drums are juxtaposed with dramatic layers of strings to create a unique interpretation of cinematic rock. Speaking of interpretations, be on the lookout for their newest single "Interpretations," coming this spring, which will be followed by "They're Damned" later this year.
Moving forward, Peverall has consistent growth on the horizon. Expect many shows, songs, and collaborations to come in the near future.
