Maria Arlamovsky Austria 2019 1h 15m Festival - ByDesign Festival 2022 [Hybrid]
About: Robolove prepares viewers and the world for an inevitable future where realistic robots will exist commonplace alongside humans, performing and participating in day-to-day activities as trophy lovers, educational representatives, and android counterparts.
Depending on ones fascination or distaste for real, contemporary androids, Robolove is either a thrilling brain-teaser or a haunting, dystopian vision. Featuring Japanese robotics guru Hiroshi Ishigugo, transhumanist Natasha Vita More, an international cast of androids, and many others, Robolove travels the world in its exploration of ideas around ethics, the nature of existence and consciousness, and the ever-expanding realm of possibility emerging from robotic science.
(Maria Arlamovsky, Austria, 2019, 75 min, in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, English, Japanese & German with English subtitles)

Accessibility
Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Executive Director Vivian Hua at vivian@nwfilmforum.org
