Auditions for Dance Theatre of Harlem/CityDance Summer Intensive
Dance Theatre of Harlem in partnership with Washington, DC-based CityDance are offering a Summer Ballet Intensive for ages 10-19, June 22nd - July 3rd.
The first of two auditions for the Intensive will be held on January 11, 2014 at the CityDance School & Conservatory located at The Music Center at Strathmore. (The 2nd audition will be held March 8. Click here to register: http://audition-dth-cd-2.bpt.me/)
Audition Times are the same for both days:
12:00pm to 1:30pm (Ages 15 to 19)
1:30pm to 2:00pm (Pointe) (Ages 15 to 19)
2:00pm to 3:30pm (Ages 10 to 14)
About: Dance Theatre of Harlem's Summer Intensives are ideal for students interested in a challenging exploration of ballet and the allied arts with daily classes in ballet, pointe, pas de deux, modern, contemporary, jazz, and African. Other activities may include, master classes with guest artists and CityDance faculty, world dance, choreography workshops, and participation in a culminating performance.
Strathmore is connected by a skybridge to Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro stop on the DC Red Line. There is also plenty of free parking in the Metro garage.
