Royal Teeth have been making waves since the March, 2013 premiere of their exuberant and uplifting debut, 'Glow,' released on Dangerbird Records. The New Orleans sextet's album, centered around youthful exploration of the unknown, features eclectic instrumentation and tandem vocals provided by Gary Larsen and Nora Patterson. This led to a tours with Fitz & The Tantrums (which included a stop at Summerfest) and the Mowgli's, contributing a track to FIFA 13, and an appearance on Last Call with Carson Daly.
Accompanying them on tour is Brooklyn quartet CHAPPO. Their bio accurately describes them as "splitting the difference between the guitar driven psychedelia of 60s west coast rock and spiritual witch doctor moonshine of Dr John." With two EPs and a self-titled debut under their belt, they'll release a sophomore LP on March 4th - a concept album about exploring through time and space entitled 'Future Former Self.' The attention garnered from the success of CHAPPO's previous releases - which included use of the single "Come Home" in an oft-aired Apple ad and a favorable review from Consequence of Sound - makes 'FFS' a highly-anticipated release in 2014.
