Holocene
Reflections on eruptions, both geological and emotional, in a world intent on destruction. The true story of French volcanologists Maurice & Katia Krafft, who spent their lives on the edge of annihilation, collide with the everyday anxieties of adulthood in this new play about the lengths we go to to forget our own fragility.
Join David for an hour of FM Radio, NHS pamphlets, near-misses, childhood rock collections and lop-sided storytelling as he attempts to excavate where anxiety comes from and, when it's arrived, whether it's something that ever really erodes. Oh and there's some wicked videos of volcanoes in it too, if that's up your street.
