SJVJF33: Jon Hatamiya Big Band
The San Joaquin Valley Jazz Festival's Saturday Night Headlining Artist concert will be presenting a professional large jazz ensemble - live in concert, outdoors!
The Jon Hatamiya Big Band is comprised of up-and-coming young professional musicians from Northern and Southern California. Jon Hatamiya is a trombonist native to the Sacramento area with degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, University of Southern California, and the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz. He is an Orenda recording artist and has composed many original pieces for big band and small group.
