Lunch & Learn with the Virginia Fair Housing Office
Dr. Randall Lockwood is retired, but his expertise is still in demand as the ASPCA Consultant on Policy, Response and Engagement at THE AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.
Dr. Randy, as we lovingly call him, will be our guest speaker at the upcoming Lunch and Learn with the Virginia Fair Housing Office. He is an expert on the topic of animal hoarding that has spoken to many audiences about "clinical hoarding of animals".
Many housing providers are now aware of clinical or chronic hoarding as a disability. While some residents hoard "things", some hoard animals, believing that they are saving the animals. Sadly the hoarding of animals can be a huge healthy problem. The accummulation of urine and feces can become a serious health hazard to the hoarder and those living close.
Join us as we learn more about this disorder. This is part of the series about "chronic hoarding". Please share this information with anyone interested in knowing more about hoarding.
