Death by a Thousand Cuts: A Requiem for Black and Brown Men, by Steve Driffin
Quinnipiac University is proud to present a staged reading of "Death by a Thousand Cuts: A Requiem for Black and Brown Men" a play by Award-Winning screenwriter, Steve Driffin.
This powerful stage play depicts the life encounters, trauma and micro aggressions of Black and Brown men who have been historically and culturally silent about the pain they endure living in their skin in America.
This event is funded by the Intellectual and Cultural Event Fund within the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University and is sponsored by the office of the Vice President for Equity, Inclusion, and Leadership Development, The Department of Cultural and Global Engagement, and The Theater Program.
All audience members will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask at all times while in the theater.
Actors will perform without masks. They are vaccinated and will have produced negative COVID tests before each performance.
