Ever since emerging as a dynamic young rapper in the late 1990s, Planet Asia has churned out massive hits and singles, which garnered him attention from critics and media outlets around the country. Hailing from Fresno, California, this impeccable lyricist eventually moved to Los Angeles, where his career blossomed into a full fledged phenomenon.
He has won The Source Magazine's Independent Album of the Year twice, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business including Ghostface Killah, Talib Kweli, Raekwon, Will-i-am, and Linkin Park.

Underground mainstay Z-MAN first splashed onto the scene in 1995 with the release of his original crew 99th Demention's self titled album. Since then Z-MAN has released over a dozen critically acclaimed projects and toured the U.S. and Europe extensively. Last year alone saw the release of the Motel Crew album with longtime collaborator Luke Sick and Doug Surreal, The Vegetable & The Ferret project with White Mic of Bored Stiff, an E.P. with producer G-PEK entitled In Case You Forgot, and a solo album from is alter ego The Gingerbread Man entitled Powder Music. This time we find Z-Mainey getting in touch with his bay area roots on his brand new album, California Brainwashed. Over seventeen tracks, entirely produced by Raytona500 and JWells, we find Z-MAN addressing the state of the rap game, youngskins and apple pies living to fast, his life as an entertainer, and societies ills among other things. The only features are from The Gingerbread Man and No Teef with cuts from DJ Quest, True Justice, and DJ Dosianinco.
