"On Golden Pond' is a classic American family drama that asks whether we're still ourselves even as we age and whether the chasms between parent and child can ever be filled and redeemed.
Norman Thayer is turning 80 and is beginning to show the signs of dementia even as his wife tries to hide the effects from him. As they arrive at their Maine Lake summer home, their daughter arrives with her new beau and his son.
As Norman confronts the onset of his condition he must also see if he can repair his family relationships or lose his connections to his family for good.
By turns hilarious and poignant the show brings to light the foibles of families.
