About Miss Beth Beth Bonnabeau has been a childrens theatre educator/director since the early 90's. She received her BA in Theatre in 1989 from SUNY Plattsburgh where she served as President of Alpha Psi Omega, a National Theatre Honors Fraternity, and Vice President of the College Theatre Association. Beth discovered her passion for childrens theatre early. She taught and directed at many local theatres, schools and dance studios and is thrilled to be bringing her very specific skill set to Brookfield Theatre! Beth is known for creating safe spaces for children to express themselves and discover the joys of being part of a family of actors...a "no judgement zone" where young people are free to stretch their imaginations and creativity to the max! Childrens/Teens theatre directorial credits include: Guys and Dolls, Godspell, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Little Shop of Horrors, Once On This Island, Into The Woods, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Annie, Oliver, Spring Awakening, Avenue Q, Heathers, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Once Upon A Mattress, Cabaret, Chicago, The Fantasticks, Legally Blonde, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Beth has also created numerous Revues, such as the Spotlight Showcase we'll be performing this summer, which are designed specifically for the students enrolled, giving every young performer a moment to shine!
