Mighty Crows, High Country, Alhambra Valley Band
San Francisco Bluegrass & Old-Time Festival Traditional Bluegrass Show
The Mighty Crows is a Bay Area bluegrass band with a traditional style and repertoire reminiscent of the seminal bluegrass acts of the 40s and 50s. The band is built around the powerful trio singing of Chris Smith (guitar), Jeff Zieba (banjo) and Mark Wardenburg (fiddle). Band front-man Ken Torke plays mandolin and keeps things moving as they gather around a single mic. Dave Walker from Homespun Rowdy joins the Crows on bass. mightycrows.com
With driving rhythm, skillful picking and soulful singing, High Country brings the energy and experience of six seasoned bluegrass professionals. For 40 years, High Country has toured and recorded extensively, has played many of the major U.S. and European bluegrass festivals and was the first West Coast band to play at Bill Monroe's Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival. The band is Butch Waller (mandolin), Bob Waller (guitar), Larry Cohea (banjo), Jim Mintun (dobro) Tom Bekeny (fiddle) and Glenn Dauphin (bass). highcountrybluegrass.com

The band members are Lynn Quinones (guitar & vocals), Jill Cruey (fiddle & vocals), Dan Large (mandolin & vocals), Bruce Campbell (bass & vocals) and Mitch Polzak (banjo & vocals). alhambravalleyband.com
