AIA Orange County ZNE Webinar: 2022 Title 24- Part 6 Energy Code Update
In this webinar, you will learn about new changes to Californias Energy Code; where the State is headed with regards to carbon neutrally, and how energy code changes are impacting the design process.
Learning Objectives ~ Attendees will:
1.Learn about the new code changes that impact new construction projects starting January 1, 2023, and what are Californias long term plans regarding carbon neutrality.
2.Understand how to appropriately size mandatory solar requirements for new low-rise residential projects and how battery storage will now be written into the code.
3.Review the all-electric pathway and how the Code will consider a building as all-electric ready.
4.How to communicate energy code changes with your clients/stakeholders, and how to offset costs by enhanced modeling.
