Originally from Cuba, Felix is excited to bring his cultural heritage to the island of Alameda with a hot Habana night performance. Felix will perform several songs from his album 'En La Habana' and a variety of Cuban styles including bolero, rumba, chacha, and timba. As they do in Cuba, where there is music there is dancing, and the Rhythmix dance floor will be open for you to shake it up. A star-studded line up of Cuban musicians will back Felix making this a night to remember! To kick off the evening, a beginner one-hour dance lesson will be offered by SalsaWithRebecca at 7:00pm. A Cuban-born vocalist and natural performer from birth, Felix Samuel has a superbly potent voice and a distinct sound, creating a contemporary Cuban music by fusing jazz, R&B, soul, and global influences from Mozambique, Europe, and Macedonian flavors. Felix shines as an artist, bringing contagious energy to the stage and the dance floor.
