Erica O'Malley is the 2008 ASWA North Central Region Balance Award Winner. Are you making resolutions for the New Year and setting priorities for your career? Come hear how Erica manages her work while making her family a priority.

Erica is a client service partner at Grant Thornton LLP with more than 20 years of experience and has practiced exclusively in the employee benefits area for more than 14 years. She began her career at Arthur Andersen and began specializing in benefit plan audits as a result of the Department of Labor's scrutiny of employee benefit plan auditors. Currently, Erica is the Partner-in-Charge of the Midwest Region Employee Benefit Plan Practice for Grant Thornton LLP. She and her team have been trailblazers in the area of flexible work arrangements at the firm, demonstrating by example how successful these arrangements can be for both the firm and the professionals working them, and she serves as the Midwest Region Steering Committee Member for Grant Thorntons "Women@Grant Thornton initiative. Erica is one of the 2006 AICPA/ICPAS Women to Watch Award recipients.
