SHOSHINZ is Japanese for "shy timid people," but these two surreal Tokyo maids are subservient to nothing and no one. Their delicate silences and coy demeanor will lure you in, and then they will bend your mind with brilliant physical theater, dance, absurd music and song. Yanomi and Kuronatsu of SHOSHINZ have starred in numerous theater productions in Tokyo and elsewhere in Japan and have toured to Canada, Egypt, Russia, Iran, and many countries across Asia.
