Tap for Cardio Workshop for Teens & Adults
After that big holiday dinner, you'll be in need of a good workout. The weekend after Christmas, take this class as an alternative to your gym routine. Bring a friend with you!
What better way to knock off those holiday calories than with some tap and cardio! This class is sure to get you moving. Enjoy a good workout while tapping to some upbeat tunes. This class is geared toward intermediate and advanced level tappers, but beginners are also welcome.
For teens and adults of all ages.
FREE DAYCARE will be provided during the class! So leave your kids with our experienced staff as you enjoy an hour of dancing.

$10 for registered Cal Arts students; $12 for unregistered students.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Malinda Asbury studied her first love of dance starting at the age of 4 at Cynthia Merrill School of the Performing Arts. Since then has studied various styles of dance through a variety of dance masters around Fresno. Malinda grew a passion for teaching and choreographing while attending Bullard TALENT. After graduating from Roosevelt School of the Arts, she pursed her passion for dance and received a B.A. degree in Dance at San Jose State University. Her studies included Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Latin Dance, Capoeira, and Choreography. While in college, Malinda has performed with Mantanceros (salsa) and trained under Joelle Maletis at SJSU. After graduating from San Jose State, Malinda has performed, choreographed and taught jazz and tap at Good Company Players. She currently teaches jazz at Bullard TALENT, and jazz, tap, and salsa at California Arts Academy. Malinda continues to pursue teaching others the same passion of dance she has grown to love and can not live without.
