They're Playing Our Song, In Concert

APPLAUSE! Musicals In Concert brings the rare 1979 musical gem to life.

It is said that opposites attract. Pair a somewhat up-tight classically trained musician with a young lyricist who's a little bit more than 'out there', and sparks just might fly. Add a script by comedy master Neil Simon (Little Me, Promises Promises, Sweet Charity) to the mix, stir in music by Marvin Hamlisch (A Chorus Line, Smile) and lyrics by Carole Bayer-Sager and musical theatre magic is bound to occur.

The script and score still resonate with great music and very funny dialogue, even after 35 years. This intimate show gives us a chance to feature two exceptionally talented musical theatre performers in Vancouver, Erin Palm and Kerry O'Donovan. Also in the cast is Jessica Bryn, Myles MacCarthy and Imelda Goborno.
