They are excited to share their musical magic with you through a variety of tunes from around the world, sprinkled with some Christmas spirit to get this holiday season started on a joyful note! Daniel Lapp has toured for 30 years across Europe, Australia, China, Israel, the USA, and Canada, playing various musical styles from folk and jazz to electronic music. He has performed on a variety of instruments with many recognizable names such as Spirit of the West, Rickie Lee Jones, 54-40, Gord Downie, Barney Bentall, Jim Byrnes, Jim Cuddy, Elvis Costello, Lou Reed, Stephen Fearing, Ed Robertson, Roy Forbes and as a soloist with the Vancouver, Victoria, Prince George and CBC Symphonies. Daniel founded the youth BC Fiddle Orchestra program in 1994 that continues to inspire dozens of young fiddlers. He founded the Victoria Fiddle Society in 2001 that holds monthly jams with up to 100 participants of all ages. He has led the Joy of Life Choir with almost 100 non-auditioned adult members for nearly 25 years and leads a 40 member adult folk ensemble called Folkestra.
Over the past 20 years, Adam Dobres has toured extensively as a guitarist for The Wailin' Jennys, Toni Childs, Pierre Schryer, Dermot Byrne (Altan), Daniel Lapp,and Ridley Bent. He toured as an opening act with the Ruth Moody Band for Mark Knopfler, including 8 shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Adam has also appeared on the acclaimed radio show the Prairie Home Companion with The Wailin' Jennys. In addition, he recorded on their latest album, "Fifteen", which hit #1 on the bluegrass charts and earned a Juno Nomination in 2018.
For 20 years, Adrian Dolan has been a fixture in the roots band The Bills, whose recordings have earned multiple Juno Award nominations and Western Canadian Music Awards. His extensive touring credits include The Wailin' Jennys, Barney Bentall, Deva Premal, The Arrogant Worms, Ruth Moody, The Chieftains and the Rankin Sisters. In addition, Adrian keeps busy as a freelance producer, arranger, and recording engineer. After several years in Vancouver, he is now based in the Cowichan Valley.
