Join us at Urban Beat for a unique electric/acoustic performance with Jennifer Westwood and Guitarist Dylan Dunbar of Jennifer Westwood and the Handsome Devils. The duo forms the heart of Jennifer Westwood and the Handsome Devils - Rock and Roll with Honky Tonk Soul - drawing influence from Texas Blues, Muscle Shoals and infused with gospel.

Dylan's versatility and exploration of tone make his playing the perfect compliment for Jennifer's broad vocal range and soulful stylings. He has also served as ax man for two Handy Award winning artists as well as outlaw country artist Whitey Morgan, recently reuniting to provide slide guitar on tracks for his last release.

Jennifer began singing in church before branching out to the Detroit club scene and has toured the US relentlessly over the past 5 years with her band Jennifer Westwood and the Handsome Devils and with her husband as a duo, winning the favor of independent music lovers from New York to Texas. She's received 8 Detroit Music Awards. Together they have shared stages with a wide range of acts including Katey Sagal, Patti Smith, Delbert McClinton, Shooter Jennings, The Mavericks, Savoy Brown, Paul Thorn, Hayes Carll, Eric Paslay, Dale Watson, Paul Cauthen, Mickey and the Motorcars, Jason Eady and many others.
