KPFK Presents: Battle for Haditha- A Special Screening and Discussion
KPFK Pacifica Radio in Los Angeles is proud to host a free screening of Battle for Haditha at The Downtown Independent, Saturday December 14th at 12:30pm
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with:
-Filmmaker Nick Broomfield
-Actors Elliot Ruiz, Eric Mehalacopoulos, Andrew McLaren, Vernon Gaines, and Thomas Hennesey- all Marines who star in the film
-Jackie Goldberg who served on the LA City Council and as President of the LA School board
-Tom Hayden, journalist and founder of the Culver City based Peace and Justice Center
-and more!
Margaret Prescod, host of Pacifica Radio's "Sojourner Truth" will facilitate.
The Pacifica Radio Network was founded by conscientious objectors to war. Peace is part of the Pacifica Mission.
As the holiday season is upon us, join us in remembering those in far flung places of the globe, military and civilian, who pay the price for war and occupation, and in recognition of those who have stood against war.
