Melding as One: Our Roots, Our Voices, Our Visions
We are very excited to return to our holiday tradition of live concerts by offering Melding as One: Our Roots, Our Voices and Our Visions, in which we explore what humanity has in common through inspirational seasonal pieces and beloved carols. The concert highlight will be the world premiere of our newest commission, Our Roots, by internationally known British composer Bob Chilcott. As a composer, conductor, and singer, Bob Chilcott has enjoyed a lifelong association with choral music, first as a chorister and choral scholar in the choir of Kings College, Cambridge, and for 12 years as a member of the Kings Singers.
Your spirits will soar with rousing favorites like This Little Light of Mine and the exquisite French trilogy Méditations de la Vierge Marie. Youll also enjoy medieval Legends of St. Nicholas, the evocative Solstice Carol by Kim Baryluk, and Sarah Jaysmith's joyous arrangement of Bring A Torch, Jeanette, Isabella!
Please join us in celebrating the joys of the season in song!
