EPAD Platform - Wednesday 24 November
"Would you like to Time Travel with me during your lunch break?
I have been wondering how I can use my theatre maker skills in the journey towards a Just and Green Transition. Besides making theatre about the Climate Emergency and working to embed the core principles in my community practice, I have an idea I'm working on which I'd love your help with.
I'm developing a style of gamified workshop that uses drama exercises to imagine our future as it might be shaped by the Climate Emergency. It will be positive but challenging and adaptable for all different kinds of organisations and groups. I imagine it being delivered alongside Climate Literacy Training and available under a Creative Commons Licence for anyone to use.
Would you be up for giving it a go? I will take you through a fun Zoom workshop for 40 mins using some of the exercises, then leave 20 mins for discussion."
This event is EPAD's November Platform presentation. Platform is a safe online space for Edinburgh-based independent artists, producers and creatives to try out ideas and get feedback from an audience of peers.
EPAD provides advice and information to Edinburgh's independent performing arts community. We aim to strengthen the city's performing arts sector by making connections and creating opportunities to share resources across the city.
