Bridge Project
Velocity Dance Center has commissioned three of Seattle's freshest choreographers/choreographic teams to create new dances for the 10th year of The Bridge Project. The pressure is on as the choreographers are in residence with a cast of dancers to create a brand new work in three weeks - resulting in one amazing show. The Bridge Project reveals new work by choreographers Kristin Hapke, Danny Herter, and Nicole Sasala. Velocity's 2009 Choreographer in Residence, Mark Haim, will be acting as the choreographic mentor for The Bridge Project choreographers. The Bridge Project continues to be a prolific Velocity program, bringing new works to Seattle dance audiences and new opportunities choreographers and dancers.
