Improv Workshop

The Plaza Playhouse Theater's popular Improv Workshop will begin another eight-week session on Jan. 7, according to Amy Orozco, organizer of the class. Held on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the class is suited to anyone who has the urge to perform more freely in any part of their life. Workshop participants will put on an Improv Showcase on Friday, Feb. 28. The Showcase is open to the public.

Now in its sixth session, the workshop builds on basic improvisational and fundamental acting techniques for performing in front of a live audience. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants and is on a first come, first serve basis.

The workshop fee is $96 for returning students and $125 for new students. New students pay a one-time registration fee.
