Homebrewing POD / Albany Brewcrafters Joint Gathering
Last month, the TVCOG had it's first POD to discuss starting a homebrew club at the makerspace. Those in attendance talked beer, made beer, and began to discuss how to start the group. We also connected with the Dustin, the Brewmaster General for Albany Brew Crafters, an already existing homebrew club in the region!
It turns out that Albany Brew Crafters is interested in joining forces with us to make homebrew art and technology a part of our organization! They have loads of experienced brewers and ideas, and we have light industrial space and brewers who know technology. It's a match made in heaven! Well, at the pub, anyway...
On Friday, December 6th at 7P.M., we meet once again, to discuss the creation of this joint venture, bottle some beer, brew some beer, and maybe brainstorm about all the cool zymurgological (is that really a word?) technology we could invent! $5 covers attending the event and supplies for the beer your brewing will eventually produce!
